The State Research Agency is the entity responsible for the processing of personal data provided by users on the Web Portals and Electronic Offices.
In accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, the AEI undertakes to comply with its obligation of secrecy with respect to data of a personal nature and the duty to treat them with confidentiality. For these purposes, it will adopt the necessary measures to avoid its alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access.
This legal notice is applicable to the pages of the Web Portals and Electronic Offices, it is not guaranteed in the accesses through links to these sites, nor to the links from these sites with other websites.
In order to perform the provision of services, the State Research Agency may request personal data through forms that will generally be treated in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the Parliament Council and Council of April 27, 2016.
The AEI will inform and may collect data from the following categories of personal data:
- Identification and contact data (including postal and/or electronic addresses).
- Identification codes or keys for access and operation in the Portal and the Electronic Office.
- Transactional data, that is, any operation, movement and consultation associated with any of the services and administrative procedures that a user maintains with the AEI.
- Socioeconomic and labor data.
- Legal representation data.

Registration of Treatment Activities
Personal data have different Treatment Managers depending on the service provided by the State Research Agency.
Through the Web Portals and Electronic Offices, no personal data is collected without express consent. The data provided by the interested party will be used, on a unique and exclusive basis, for the purposes provided for in each procedure or action.
The general purpose of collecting and processing personal data is the management, provision and improvement of services and the processing of administrative procedures related to the State Research Agency as well as any other service requested at any time by the user and the monitoring and the response to the queries raised by them.
Each service offered by the State Research Agency may have additional purposes, all of them justified, in addition to the express consent of the user, by the legitimacy conferred on the AEI by the Laws and Legal Regulations that regulate the services offered and the associated procedures.

Once informed of the type of data necessary for the provision of the services and associated administrative procedures, the treatment activities to be carried out, its purpose and its legitimacy, the express consent will be obtained for the State Research Agency to carry out the activities treatment of personal data provided by the user of the services.
In general, the State Research Agency is the only recipient of the data collected. In no case will the aforementioned data be processed or transferred to third parties, if it is not with the express consent of the affected party according to the assumptions provided by current legal regulations.
When the service provided or its associated procedure includes legal obligations derived from the legitimacy of the treatment that require the assignment or transfer to third parties, the third party recipients of that data and the purposes of their treatment activities will be indicated.
The express consent of the user will be obtained for such assignments and data transfers. Consent will be requested separately and specifically when the data transfer is international.
The data will be kept for the time essential to attend the services offered by the State Research Agency based on administrative legislation regarding the prescription of responsibilities.
The user may at any time exercise the rights regarding the data provided for any of the administrative procedures and services.
For this, you may submit a request for Access, Limitation, Rectification, Portability, Suppression, Automated Processing or Opposition at the Electronic Headquarters of the State Research Agency, in the exercise of the rights of protection of personal data.

The State Research Agency uses a web analytics service that temporarily installs cookies for the sole and exclusive purpose of preparing statistical reports. Cookies are files created in the user's browser to record their activity on the website. A cookie does not identify a person, but rather a combination of computer-browser-user, they have a limited temporary validity and in no case are they used to collect personal information.
