There are some situations related to gender or social issues that can temporarily interrupt the research career. This document indicates the measures implemented in the financing actions of the State Research Agency (AEI) to take these situations into account, both in the consideration of the date of obtaining the doctoral degree as an eligibility requirement, and (to from 2019) in the CVA calculation period for the assessment of the curricular merits of the researchers.
