Royal Decree 1067/2015, of November 27, created the State Investigation Agency and approved its Statute. The Statute of the Agency establishes that for the fulfillment of its object and purposes, the Agency will carry out: “the communication and dissemination of the results of the evaluations carried out, the results of its activities, and the results of the research financed by the Agency". Similarly, the 2017 Annual Action Plan approved by the Governing Council of the State Research Agency, includes among its lines of action the preparation of the Transparency Plan, in its administrative activities and compliance with good governance obligations.

This document is intended to be a roadmap to address these objectives, through the implementation of dynamic communication tools and the adoption of measures to ensure maximum transparency in the exercise of their functions.
